Mentor PD is a monthly professional development aimed at supporting mentor learning around supporting novice teachers in the STR program.

Learning Objectives

• Understand a trajectory for novice teacher learning
• Improve mentoring practice through ongoing conversation with a community of mentor teachers
• Embed equity in all aspects of mentor practice
• Build bridges between UW coursework and practicum experience

Course Details

• Mentors will meet on 8/21, 8/22 and 8/26, 9/17, 10/8, 11/5, 12/10, 1/14, 2/4, 4/8, 5/13, and 6/10
• Participants may earn up to 72 equity clock hours for full participation
