Reading (Dis)abilities and Dyslexia Course Pilot

You’re invited to pilot a new online course, Reading (Dis)abilitites and Dyslexia, designed by faculty of the University of Washington’s College of Education. In this course, you’ll learn about the neurobiology of dyslexia and hear firsthand experiences of students with dyslexia. The course is entirely asynchronous and can be completed at your own pace; we estimate that it will take approximately 3 hours to complete. Afterwards, we’ll request feedback on your experience of the course through a brief survey. We value your time and perspective. You will receive three clock hours for your participation in the course and your help in improving the course for future educators.

Details:

  • Register by April 14th
  • You will have access to the course April 17th- May 5th
  • You will receive 3 equity clock hours, free of charge, for completion of the course and survey
