Early learning settings include a group of diverse young children, often many of whom are receiving services across professionals including speech/language therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and BCBAs (Board Certified Behavior Analysts). With these many different service providers, how do we ensure that effective collaboration occurs leading to improved outcomes for our children? This workshop will include a panel of professionals who will share their challenges and triumphs in working together in early learning, as well as some lecture and interactive activities. Participants will learn practical strategies for effective collaboration; identify prospective roles of BCBAs in educational settings; identify strategies for effective conflict resolutions, and; problem solve a variety of scenarios related to working with school professionals.
