Young children benefit when they feel welcomed and included in their classroom. For some children, challenging behaviors can be a barrier to developing a sense of belonging and meaningful relationships. In this two-hour workshop for early childhood professionals, you will learn ways to increase participation and reduce challenging behaviors with small changes to your ongoing classroom routines, materials, and activities. With many simple ideas, you will create your own plan to help children follow directions, regulate their strong emotions, and solve problems.
