Next Steps for Challenging Behaviors: Positive Behavior Guidance – Part 3

Sometimes, despite all your positive efforts to prevent challenges, a few children may continue to struggle. These troubling behaviors can be persistent and interfere with meaningful relationships and learning.  In this two-hour workshop for early childhood professionals, you will learn how to carefully design an individual plan when these strong behaviors do not respond to your regular guidance and redirection.  You will learn the benefits of a team approach and collecting data, generate a list of replacement behaviors to teach and effective reinforcers, and create and plan for embedding opportunities to learn these skills into your daily routine and classroom activities.
